IT’S LIVE! 24/7 Community Hub & Farmers Market!

This has been two years in the making and it’s finally here! Tekel is much more than a farmers market – hold onto your seats!

This is what you’ve all been waiting for – something that not only serves farmers, growers, makers, bakers, creators, and communities but gives each individual the opportunity to help build something spectacular, create your own shops, connect with local farmers, trade with neighbors, eat healthy, and live in a community that thrives on self-reliance.

Why am I so passionate about Tekel and know that it will grow organically across the entire country, and eventually the world? For starters, anyone who has been following my work for years, knows how passionate I am about community building, supporting our farmers, and being more self-reliant, and I know that each of you are equally as passionate about it. Because I personally know the wonderful creators of Tekel, I have added my input throughout the build-out of it, see the incredible value in this amazing platform, and have witnessed the excitement by those jumping on Tekel.

What Is Tekel?

Tekel

It’s not just a tool, it’s a platform to be local everywhere, that gives everyone the ability to unite and strengthen their communities to provide a 24/7 farmers market, guilds, trade, services, events, cultivation tools to grow your own food, and even farm-related real estate. This is nothing like any other platform out there, and it’s available on desktop as well as an app on your phone. Buy local everywhere you go!

Tekel meaning: weighed, judged, measured

A divine reckoning – systems weighed, judged, and found wanting when they fail the people they are meant to serve. Tekel carries that weight intentionally. Every middleman, every extractive system, every food monopoly will be weighed, and found wanting.

What Makes Tekel So Unique?

• Members join for free – food freedom at your fingertips, plus so much more!

• Shops only pay $8/mo or $80/yr, but can sign up now and get an additional 2 months free! That’s only $64 for the first year. This isn’t a sales pitch, this is a gift. It’s far easier and less expensive for vendors than running a website, free to members, and has the potential to reach millions as it organically grows. This platform is for the people to have a parallel system that’s been talked about for years.

• No need to build a website or be tech savvy, but if you have one and utilize Shopify or Woocommerce, with one click you can import all of your products, or you can choose to just highlight your best sellers.

• Tekel removes the middleman – If you are a farmer, homesteader, in the cottage industry, make health and wellness products, or provide a service, you can setup a shop and offer pickup, delivery, and shipping in a matter of minutes. It’s so simple and intuitive.

• Payments go directly to you via Stripe, but soon you will also be able to trade and accept cash for delivery and pickups. Bartering made easy!

• If you run a booth at a farmers market or have a farm stand, Tekel allows your customers to shop 24/7, giving you the ability to project quantities, fill more orders, and have customers pickup their orders that you have pre-bagged for them. If you’ve been on a waiting list at a farmers market, then Tekel is definitely the tool for you!

• Even better – in Tekel, you can partner up with other local vendors and form a guild so that customers can order products from multiple vendors and pickup all of their goodies at one location. You form it on Tekel, you organize it, and Tekel processes your sales smoothly for you and your customers.

• When traveling, you can pull up Tekel, pop in a zip code and find shops that serve up your favorite farm fresh foods, unique goods, and even services you may need, not to mention farm-to-table and seed swap events.

What Else Is Tekel Rolling Out?

Tekel is rolling out in phases and this is the first public announcement. Shops are coming aboard and on the marketplace and guilds are already being formed. The initial rollout began in Florida and other states are starting to come aboard because they see the value in Tekel.

Sign up here to join for free, then click on “learn more” to see the full Tekel Roadmap and all of the great tools that are coming soon. Here is just a glimpse:

• Marketplace: LIVE NOW – start shopping and/or setting up your shops!

• Guilds: LIVE NOW – vendors can connect with other local vendors to form a guild and set one convenient pickup location for their customers.

• Trade: Coming soon! This will allow vendors to trade goods and services if they wish.

• Cash Orders: Coming soon! You will be able to transact in cash on delivery and pickup orders.

And so much more is in the works!

How Do We Grow Tekel to Build Self-Reliant Communities?

For years, people have been asking me “what can I do to help create change” or “what can we do to protect our families”. This is how. By uniting, supporting your local farmers and community, getting to know each other, being of service, creating, building, and becoming self-reliant as a community and as a country.

• We talk about it with our neighbors, family, friends, co-workers and get everyone as excited as we are! Everyone can sign up for free.

• When you go to your local farmers market, tell your favorite vendors about Tekel and request they join. Share the BUYLOCAL coupon code so they get 2 additional months for free. Tell them to let all of their customers know that they can now place orders 24/7 and even arrange pickups at the farmers market. Or, they can provide delivery, direct pickup or shipping.

TEKEL Flyer

• Print these flyers and distribute them to your favorite vendors, farm stands, cottage industry, service providers, coffee shop and local community boards, and hand out to friends. Contact the administrator of your local farmers market and ask them to email this flyer to all of their vendors and those on a waiting list. It will bring them more foot traffic and it’s a win-win for all involved.

• Grab this jpg version of the flyer to share on your social media sites. Be sure to link to Tekel, share the Coupon Code BUYLOCAL for vendors to get 2 additional months free, and let folks know that it’s free to be a member and shop.

• Start your own shop! The cottage industry is booming and most states have little to no requirements. Of course, these must be shelf-stable items. Be sure to look up your state regs. Are you a baker, honey producer, sell chicken eggs, or make herbal teas, oil blends, soaps and lotions, or provide a service the community needs to know about? Maybe you are a dog walker, mobile mechanic, handyman, or avid gardener? Tekel is the perfect fit! Create, enjoy, and serve your community.

Who Owns Tekel?

Tekel was born out of a simple, shared desire: the right to clean food, honest goods, and a community that thrives together. Founded by Daniel Sanchez, the heart of Tekel is a reflection of what so many of us are searching for—true self-reliance and the freedom to support our farmers and neighbors without unnecessary interference.

His journey began in Spokane, Washington, where Daniel owned a local bar. When the Covid craziness hit and his business was forced to shut down, Daniel experienced first-hand the devastating ripple effects that lockdowns had on everyday people and local economies. Ready for a fresh start and determined to find a better way forward, Daniel and his fiancée, Abbie Florence, moved to Florida.

Today, they are bringing their vision to life: creating true food freedom and building resilient communities through Tekel.

When you sign up for free, go to your Account page and scroll down to “About Tekel” to read all about its formation and the exciting things to come!

Remember the good old days of block parties, barbecues with the neighbors, kickball, slip-and-slides, helping each other out, and hanging out in the front yards enjoying your neighbors? Can we make an effort to bring that back? PLEASE.

It’s time to rally! It’s time to work together and grow the system we all talk about – Tekel has built it for you. It’s time to buy local and be local everywhere. No one stands in the way. This is happening right now and you get to be a part of it. It’s time to build self-reliant communities and networks across this country, from a place of love, where we rely on ourselves, our neighbors, and our loved ones instead of the government. Lets all start being our own heroes – and most importantly – let’s have fun with it!

Vendors: Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions at all. Be sure to use the coupon code BUYLOCAL to get an additional 2 months free! You can sign up today and start building your shop. Very little tech experience needed – it’s that easy.

If you are interested in partnering to help grow Tekel, please contact me at [email protected].

Gathering

I pour my heart, soul, and personal time into growing Tekel; to help sustain this effort, I receive a small referral fee from registered vendors.
